The experience

We will start our expedition in Puerto Natales, where we will check-in to set sail on the catamaran. The navigation begins through the Señoret Channel. We will pass by the National Historic Monument Frigorífico Bories, a construction from 1913, notable for its post-Victorian English industrial architecture.

The navigation will continue until we reach our main destination, Mount Balmaceda, from where we can see the spectacular Balmaceda Glacier. Continuing the navigation, the next stop is to disembark in the Bernardo O’Higgins National Park. A trail of approximately 1 km will take us to the base of the Serrano Glacier, bordering the Témpanos Lagoon and crossing a native forest of coihues, ñirres, and ciruelillos. In this place, we can take photos and admire the enormous mass of ice.

Back on the boat, we will enjoy a whisky, accompanied by a spectacular panoramic view of the Serrano Glacier. Before returning to Puerto Natales, we will pass by Estancia Perales (or similar), where we will be welcomed with a typical Magellanic barbecue.

*The end time of this activity could be modified due to weather conditions, so we recommend not buying tickets to leave Puerto Natales until three hours after the scheduled return time, or leaving your trip for the next day after the tour is finished.

*From April to September, departures are confirmed with a minimum of 25 passengers. Once you make your reservation, if the minimum number of passengers is not met, it will be pending confirmation.

Schedule:
