Excursions
The excursion starts from the hotel pier, heading towards the Balmaceda and Serrano glaciers. During the navigation, you will cross fjords with the possibility of spotting colonies of sea lions and other local species. Then, you will disembark at Bernardo O'Higgins National Park to take a short hike to the viewpoint of the Serrano Glacier, where you can observe, photograph, and learn about glacier formation up close. Afterwards, we will sail towards the Balmaceda Glacier, and the excursion will conclude at a local ranch that offers a typical lunch, as well as hiking and horseback riding options.
Duration: 9 hours
Recommended tour for those who want to capture the best views of Torres del Paine National Park, the 8th wonder of the world, in a day of exploration in the style of a photo safari. We will stop at some of the most important viewpoints in the park, offering privileged views of the Paine massif. We will pass by the colorful Nordenskjöld, Sarmiento, Pehoé, and Laguna Azul lakes, with the opportunity to admire the flora and fauna of the area. As we progress, we will learn about the park's water and rock formations. We will take short walks, visit Salto Grande, and explore the surroundings of Laguna Azul to admire the Towers.
Duración: 9 - 10 horas
On this excursion, we will be able to discover more than 10 different bird species, some of which can only be found in this region. The ability of some of these birds to adapt to the climatic conditions at the end of the world is remarkable. We will pass by Toro and Porteño lakes, exploring various wildlife observation spots in their natural habitat.
Duration: 6 hours
On this journey, we will traverse horse trails and open field meadows. The route will lead us to admire beautiful panoramic views of the fjords and surrounding mountains, crossing through Nothofagus forests. The descent will be through the estate, where the best finale awaits us, admiring the great variety of birds in the area.
Duration: 3 - 4 hours
We pedal for 2 hours en route to the Natural Monument of the Milodon Caves, inside of which were found the remains of the enormous extinct mammal that gives it its name. This area was also populated by ancient tribes that inhabited these lands around 6,000 B.C. The journey unfolds amid lenga forests with views toward the Ultima Esperanza Fjord, an area rich in birdlife.
Duration: 3-4 hours
Our journey begins towards Torres del Paine National Park along the southern road that borders Lake Toro. Once there, we head west to the area of Lake Grey, near the Southern Ice Fields. Here, one of the most challenging hikes in the park awaits us: the "Mirador Ferrier," which offers a privileged view of various glaciers, the park's five main lakes, and, of course, the Paine Massif. On the way back, on an easier hike, we'll have a view of the largest lake in Magallanes, Lake Toro. The trail is an excellent spot to observe various flowers and birds. After lunch by the Paine River, we'll continue our journey to Mirador Cóndor, similar to Ferrier but with a gentler climb. This excursion combines three strategic points and less-explored viewpoints, undoubtedly an unmissable experience.
Duración: 9 horas
While this hike is not for the faint of heart - it's a four-hour trek with challenging features - it offers unforgettable rewards for those who undertake it. Traveling through intensely green forests, passing by rock formations carved over the ages, and potentially encountering various endemic animal species, you'll feel the thrilling excitement of being one with your surroundings. The grand finale? Upon reaching the summit, a complete 360-degree view of the mountains, the fjord, and even a glimpse of Argentina. Simply breathtaking.
