Beginning of the experience
Start of the Air-Cruise Arrival in Punta Arenas, Chile, before 2 PM, where you will be greeted by Antarctica21 staff and transferred to your hotel. In the afternoon, you will be welcomed at the Explorers House to attend a mandatory briefing providing important information about your air-cruise and reviewing essential guidelines for Antarctica visitors. Later, gather for a welcome dinner and meet your fellow adventurers while enjoying a typical regional menu.
Scheduled Flight to Antarctica King George Island, in the South Shetland Islands. Upon leaving the plane, the pure Antarctic air will fill your lungs for the first time. You will then walk 2 km, passing by the Chilean Frei Station and the Russian Bellingshausen Station to reach the shore and board a Zodiac that will take you to your exclusive expedition vessel.
Antarctic Exploration
Navigate between the South Shetland Islands and the west coast of the Antarctic Peninsula, sailing through ice-filled fjords and stunning icebergs, while enjoying the company of seabirds, penguins, seals, and whales. Each day, you will disembark on Zodiacs and explore the landscape alongside expert polar guides. Onboard the ship, you will attend an educational presentation program and enjoy spectacular views from the lounge while sharing your daily adventures with fellow guests.
No two trips are the same, and flexibility is the key to success in Antarctica. The Expedition Team plans the journey's route to take advantage of the ever-changing opportunities nature provides, creating a unique and extraordinary experience each time. While the exact itinerary changes on each expedition, you will explore various locations that offer the best possible view of the diverse Antarctic environment. Your trip may include visits to places in the South Shetland Islands, the Drake Passage, the Gerlache Strait, and the Penola Strait.
Return Flight from Antarctica
Return to King George Island and bid farewell to Antarctica before boarding the return flight to Punta Arenas. Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel for an overnight stay. (Note: Meals in Punta Arenas are on your own and are not included in the program).
End of the Air Cruise
After breakfast, transfer to Punta Arenas airport for your connecting flight.

- Complete informational material before and after the trip.
- Group transfers from the airport to the hotel on the first day for guests arriving in Punta Arenas, and from the hotel to the airport on the last day of the air cruise itinerary.
- Two-night stay with breakfast in Punta Arenas at Hotel Cabo de Hornos or a similar accommodation on the first day and the day of the scheduled return flight from Antarctica.
- Welcome dinner on the first day at the hotel in Punta Arenas.
- Special access to Explorers House for guests in Punta Arenas.
- Cruise by boat and flight from Punta Arenas, Chile, to King George Island, Antarctica, and/or vice versa, as indicated in the corresponding itinerary for each air-cruise program.
- Daily buffet-style breakfast, à la carte lunch, and dinner, as well as wine, beer, juice, soft drinks, coffee, tea, hot chocolate, cappuccino, water, and snacks on board the ship.
- Loan of waterproof boots for landings in Antarctica, contingency plan, and IAATO (International Association of Antarctic Tour Operators) passenger fee.
- All guided land excursions, as well as lectures and onboard entertainment on the ship.
